About
Me
Erin Lee Shields (she/her) has always had her finger on the pulse of wit. With bold presence, she is a living collection of intensity, quickness, eccentricity, and punchy dialogue all the while garbed out in the greatest getup ever committed to celluloid. In a world full of transatlantic accents, Erin is a vocal fry. Once when asked to describe Erin’s entire being in but a mere two words, her closest friend answered “French Exit.” What more do you need to know?
Originally from Manassas, Virginia, Erin grew up in the theatre, humbly starting out cast as a bush. It is worth noting that, as a bush, she still advocated for herself by requesting that she get to wear a pair of leather Mary Janes for the sake of character. Fabulous. At the tired age of seven, she abandoned an illustrious dance career to pursue bigger things, namely a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Erin is driven and puts her all into everything she commits to, especially her wardrobe.
Erin is a performer that can best be characterized by her natural instinct to walk into a creative space holding dynamite with both hands. As an actress, she values spontaneity and precision, often embodies captivatingly whip-smart characters, and always brings a piece of her distinctive presence and delivery to her performances. Erin receives her BFA in Acting with a Minor in Writing from Shenandoah Conservatory in May 2025.
When Erin isn’t performing, you can find her lurking on The Real Real in an attempt to find an affordable Prada 2003 virgin wool bateau jacket, watching Gena Rowlands’s performance in Opening Night, not cooking, convincing men in her life to get their ears pierced, and talking.
